The CarolinasRCOOS has been asked by the National Weather Service to move the CAP2 and FRP2 moorings further offshore. This move would place the moorings 10 miles from shore instead of their 5 miles from shore locations. The coordinates for the new, proposed locations are:
FRP2 32°16.736N 80°18.2.298W
CAP2 32°52.547N 79°22.8.826W
