Partner InstitutionsThe University of South Carolina's Belle W. Baruch InstituteThe University of South Carolina's (USC) Belle W. Baruch Institute is the lead institution for Caro-COOPS and is responsible for overall project management, as well as design and implementation of the data communications and management subsystem. North Carolina State University (NCSU)North Carolina State University (NCSU), in partnership with the University of South Carolina, is responsible for designing and deploying the observing subsystem and implementing the modeling and applications subsystem (CEMEPS). The University of North Carolina at WilmingtonUNCW's Center for Marine Science operates the Coastal Ocean Research Program (CORMP), which interfaces with Caro-COOPS. The Caro-COOPS information management team is also providing logistic support to CORMP's data management activity. The South Carolina Department of Natural ResourcesSupport for Caro-COOPS marine operations are provided by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SC DNR), through a subaward from USC. |
